Matwork Pilates · CONTROLOGY
Before it became known worldwide as Pilates, Joseph Pilates called his teaching Contrology: the art and discipline of controlling the body through the mind.
Matwork is one of its foundations. Through concentration, control, centering, breathing, precision, and flow, every exercise develops body awareness, movement mastery, and balance. It is a demanding, progressive practice faithful to the method’s principles and adaptable to every practitioner.
Our exceptional apparatus suite

The Reformer
The Reformer is one of the signature apparatuses designed by Joseph Pilates to develop and deepen his method. Its moving carriage and spring system provide resistance or assistance while opening up a wide range of movements.
It develops precise core work, stability, coordination, and mobility while allowing resistance and range of motion to be adapted to each practitioner.
- Progressive resistance and controlled movement
- Core strength and pelvic stability
- Alignment and coordination work
- Mobility and movement precision

The Cadillac

With its vertical frame, springs, trapeze bar, and range of accessories, the Cadillac offers remarkable versatility. It develops spinal mobility, stability, strength, coordination, and movement control, both on the mat and in suspension.
Especially versatile, it supports both foundational learning and more advanced work.
The Wunda Chair

Compact yet demanding, the Wunda Chair engages the whole body. Leg, core, and upper-body work combine with challenging balance, coordination, and control.
